The Rambler

GVF Transportation manages a fixed-route shuttle service that travels all around Upper Merion Township. The Rambler runs Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Connections are made with the Upper Merion Township Building, the King of Prussia Transportation Center, the Court and the Plaza at King of Prussia, the Upper Merion Township Building/Library, the Upper Merion Senior Center, and multiple shopping centers and apartment complexes in the area. Cost per ride is $2.00 for adults aged 18 - 64, $.50 for children aged 7 - 17, and free for senior citizens with a PENNDOT pass. Ten-trip tickets are available for $10, making the cost of a one-way trip $1. The King of Prussia Medical Center is a Request stop, so passengers wishing to ride from there must call GVF Transportation at (610) 354-8899 an hour in advance. Senior Citizen Transportation

The Montgomery County TransNet’s Shared Ride Program takes senior citizens wherever that want to go (malls, doctors’ offices, movies) in and around the county. Neighborhood taxi companies are utilized.

The cost is supported by the Pennsylvania Lottery. There is no limit on trips for individuals 65 or over who pay 15% of the usual fare. Individuals 60 to 64 may make eight one-way trips per month and pay 25% of the usual fare. Additional information is available from Suburban Transit Network by calling 215-542-RIDE.
